AvenueAR Terms of Use

LAST UPDATED: AUGUST 31, 2026

Welcome to AvenueAR.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the AvenueAR websites, applications, tools, artist services, music-submission features, educational resources, executive profiles, record-label research, and other services made available by Avenue AR, LLC (“AvenueAR,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By creating an account, purchasing a service, uploading content, submitting music, or otherwise using AvenueAR, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use AvenueAR.

1.ABOUT AVENUEAR

AvenueAR is a music-industry platform designed to help artists better understand, develop, present, and navigate their music careers.

Depending on the features available to your account, AvenueAR may provide access to services such as: artist profiles and career tools; music presentation and submission tools; professional or executive feedback opportunities; artist-development resources; music-industry research and educational content; record-label and A&R research; music-distribution, marketing, publishing, royalty, and release-related resources; and paid subscriptions, credits, or other premium services.

Certain features may change, be added, removed, or modified over time.

2.AVENUEAR IS NOT A RECORD LABEL

Unless AvenueAR expressly states otherwise in writing, AvenueAR is not acting as a record label, music publisher, artist manager, talent agency, attorney, accountant, distributor, PRO, or financial adviser solely because you use the Platform.

Using AvenueAR does not create an artist-management, recording, publishing, employment, fiduciary, agency, or other professional relationship between you and AvenueAR.

AvenueAR also does not guarantee that any record label, publisher, manager, A&R executive, music supervisor, industry professional, or other third party will: listen to your music; review your submission; respond to you; meet with you; offer representation; offer a recording or publishing agreement; license your music; place your music; or otherwise provide you with an opportunity.

3.EXECUTIVE AND INDUSTRY PROFESSIONAL PARTICIPATION

AvenueAR may feature or provide access to participating music-industry executives, professionals, consultants, evaluators, advisers, or other industry participants.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, these individuals are not employees of AvenueAR. Their participation on AvenueAR does not necessarily mean that their current or former employers, record labels, publishers, management companies, or other affiliated businesses sponsor or endorse AvenueAR.

Submitting music to an industry professional through AvenueAR is not the same as submitting music directly to that professional’s employer, label, publisher, management company, or other affiliated business unless AvenueAR clearly states that a specific opportunity is an authorized submission opportunity for that organization.

4.NO GUARANTEED INDUSTRY OUTCOME

AvenueAR may help artists improve their presentation, preparation, knowledge, and ability to pursue music-industry opportunities.

AvenueAR does not guarantee: record deals; publishing deals; management agreements; playlist placements; radio airplay; press coverage; sync placements; stream counts; audience growth; royalty income; A&R meetings; executive responses; career success; or any particular commercial result.

Music-industry decisions are made by independent third parties and are outside AvenueAR’s control.

5.ELIGIBILITY

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to create an AvenueAR account.

If you are under the legal age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian may be required to review and agree to these Terms on your behalf.

You may not use AvenueAR if doing so would violate applicable law.

6.YOUR AVENUEAR ACCOUNT

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and protecting your login credentials. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you promptly notify AvenueAR of unauthorized access.

You may not: share or sell your account; impersonate another person; create an account using false or misleading information; use another person’s account without permission; or use AvenueAR for fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, or unlawful activity.

AvenueAR may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7.ARTIST SUBMISSIONS AND MUSIC

You may be permitted to upload or submit songs, sound recordings, artwork, photographs, videos, biographies, lyrics, links, metadata, and other artist materials (“Artist Content”).

You retain ownership of Artist Content that you own. By uploading Artist Content to AvenueAR, you represent that you have all rights and permissions necessary to upload, store, display, transmit, and use that material through AvenueAR.

You must not submit material that infringes another person’s copyright, trademark, publicity right, privacy right, contractual right, or other legal right.

8.LICENSE TO OPERATE AVENUEAR

You retain ownership of your Artist Content. However, you grant AvenueAR a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, display, and otherwise use your Artist Content to the extent reasonably necessary to: operate AvenueAR; display your artist profile; deliver material to a professional or executive you choose; provide services you request; process your submission; maintain backups; support platform functionality; and comply with legal obligations.

This license does not transfer ownership of your music to AvenueAR. Except where you separately authorize AvenueAR in writing, AvenueAR does not acquire ownership of your copyrights solely because you upload music to the Platform.

9.PUBLIC USE OF ARTIST CONTENT

AvenueAR will not publicly use private submitted music or artist materials for promotional, educational, testimonial, social-media, or public demonstration purposes unless: the content was already designated by you as public; the applicable AvenueAR feature clearly provides for public display; you separately authorize the use; or AvenueAR otherwise has a lawful basis or contractual right to use it.

Where permission is obtained, AvenueAR may use approved Artist Content to demonstrate how the Platform works, publish artist stories, or create promotional and educational materials.

10.FEEDBACK AND EVALUATIONS

Professional feedback, evaluations, opinions, comments, scores, or recommendations provided through AvenueAR represent the views of the individual providing them.

Music is subjective. A positive evaluation does not guarantee an opportunity, and a negative evaluation does not mean that an artist or recording lacks commercial potential.

AvenueAR does not guarantee that two industry professionals will reach the same conclusion about the same music.

11.PAID SUBMISSIONS, CREDITS AND SERVICES

Certain AvenueAR features may require payment, credits, subscriptions, or other prepaid services. Prices and available services may change.

Before completing a purchase, AvenueAR will display the applicable price and material purchase terms.

Where credits are used, the required number of credits may depend on the service or professional selected. Credits have no cash value except where required by law and may not be sold or transferred unless AvenueAR expressly permits it.

12.FULFILLMENT OF PAID MUSIC SUBMISSIONS

When you purchase a paid submission or evaluation, you are purchasing the applicable AvenueAR service described at checkout. You are not purchasing a positive review, industry opportunity, record deal, meeting, placement, or response beyond the specific service described.

Any review or response timeframe displayed at checkout or in AvenueAR’s current Fulfillment Policy controls over outdated references elsewhere on the website. AvenueAR may update service-delivery timeframes as its products evolve.

13.REFUNDS

Refund eligibility is governed by AvenueAR’s separate Fulfillment & Refund Policy and applicable law. Unless otherwise stated at checkout or required by law, payments for completed, delivered, consumed, or specifically initiated prepaid submission services may be non-refundable.

If AvenueAR fails to provide a purchased service, AvenueAR may, depending on the circumstances and applicable policy, provide: replacement credits; a replacement service; a refund; or another appropriate remedy.

The current Fulfillment & Refund Policy should always be consulted before making a purchase.

14.SUBSCRIPTIONS AND CANCELLATION

If AvenueAR offers recurring paid subscriptions, the subscription price, renewal interval, included services, and cancellation terms will be disclosed before purchase. Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled before the next billing date.

Canceling a subscription stops future renewals but does not necessarily provide a refund for a billing period that has already begun, except where required by law or provided by AvenueAR’s Refund Policy. Your access to paid features may continue until the end of the paid billing period.

15.TRIALS AND PROMOTIONAL OFFERS

AvenueAR may offer free trials, promotional pricing, credits, discounts, or other special offers. Additional terms may apply.

If a trial automatically converts to a paid subscription, AvenueAR will disclose this before enrollment. Promotional offers may be changed or discontinued subject to applicable law.

16.RECORD LABEL AND A&R RESEARCH

AvenueAR may publish educational information about: record labels; record-label rosters; A&R executives; music-industry companies; demo-submission policies; artists; publishers; distributors; and other music-industry organizations.

This material is provided for informational and research purposes. Unless expressly stated otherwise, AvenueAR is not affiliated with, endorsed by, owned by, or an authorized representative of third-party companies discussed in its research materials.

Because rosters, executives, company structures, policies, and contact information can change, users should verify time-sensitive information directly through official sources.

17.THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES

AvenueAR may link to third-party websites, platforms, labels, streaming services, submission systems, social networks, payment providers, or other external services. AvenueAR does not control those third parties.

Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. A link from AvenueAR does not necessarily mean AvenueAR endorses or is affiliated with the third party.

18.USER CONDUCT

You may not use AvenueAR to: infringe copyrights or other intellectual property rights; upload music or materials you do not have permission to use; impersonate another person or company; misrepresent an industry affiliation; send spam or unsolicited bulk messages; harass or threaten another user; distribute malware; attempt to bypass platform security; scrape or harvest data using unauthorized automated tools; artificially manipulate plays, views, engagement, submissions, or other platform activity; reverse engineer protected parts of AvenueAR except where permitted by law; or use AvenueAR for illegal or fraudulent activity.

AvenueAR may remove content or suspend accounts where reasonably necessary to protect users, the Platform, or third parties.

19.INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The AvenueAR name, logos, visual identity, software, design, text, databases, proprietary tools, platform features, and original AvenueAR content are owned by or licensed to AvenueAR.

These Terms do not give you ownership of AvenueAR intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, license, modify, or commercially exploit AvenueAR proprietary material except as permitted by law or authorized in writing.

20.COPYRIGHT COMPLAINTS

AvenueAR respects intellectual property rights. If you believe material appearing on AvenueAR infringes your copyright, you may submit a copyright complaint through AvenueAR’s designated contact process.

AvenueAR may remove or restrict allegedly infringing content where appropriate and may request additional information before acting on a complaint. AvenueAR may terminate repeat infringers where required or appropriate.

21.PRIVACY

AvenueAR’s collection and use of personal information is governed by its separate Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy should explain matters including: account information; payment information; artist submissions; cookies and analytics; communications; data retention; data sharing; and applicable privacy rights.

22.AVAILABILITY OF THE PLATFORM

AvenueAR attempts to keep its services available and functioning properly, but uninterrupted operation cannot be guaranteed.

Features may occasionally be unavailable because of: maintenance; updates; technical failures; third-party systems; security events; or circumstances outside AvenueAR’s control. AvenueAR may modify, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary.

23.EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION IS NOT PROFESSIONAL ADVICE

AvenueAR publishes music-industry educational material. Unless AvenueAR specifically provides a separately contracted professional service, information on AvenueAR is not: legal advice; tax advice; accounting advice; investment advice; financial advice; or individualized business advice.

Artists should consult qualified professionals regarding contracts, rights, taxes, accounting, financial decisions, and legal obligations specific to their circumstances.

24.DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AvenueAR is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

AvenueAR does not warrant that: the Platform will always be uninterrupted; all information will always be complete or error-free; third-party information will remain current; using AvenueAR will produce a particular commercial result; or every technical issue will be corrected immediately.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be waived.

25.LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AvenueAR and its officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from your use of AvenueAR.

This may include losses relating to: lost profits; lost business opportunities; lost data; lost music-industry opportunities; third-party decisions; or unauthorized third-party conduct.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

26.INDEMNIFICATION

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AvenueAR and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from claims arising from: your violation of these Terms; your Artist Content; your violation of third-party rights; your unlawful use of AvenueAR; or material you upload without the necessary rights or permissions.

27.SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

You may stop using AvenueAR at any time. AvenueAR may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary because of: violations of these Terms; fraud; security threats; intellectual property violations; abusive conduct; nonpayment; legal requirements; or misuse of the Platform.

Termination does not eliminate payment or legal obligations that arose before termination. Rights that logically need to survive termination—including intellectual-property protections, liability provisions, dispute provisions, and licenses necessary for previously authorized uses—may continue after termination.

28.CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

AvenueAR may update these Terms as the Platform evolves. When material changes are made, AvenueAR may provide notice through: the website; your account; email; or another reasonable method.

The revised Last Updated date will appear at the top of the page. Continued use of AvenueAR after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

29.GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES

This section should be finalized by AvenueAR’s attorney before publication.

The current legacy Terms contain conflicting provisions regarding California law, Sweden, Orange County jurisdiction, Nashville/Atlanta arbitration locations, international arbitration, and other country-specific rules. Those provisions should not simply be copied into the new Terms without legal review.

AvenueAR’s attorney should establish one internally consistent framework covering: governing law; venue; informal dispute resolution; arbitration, if used; small-claims exceptions; class-action waiver, if used; international users; and legally required consumer protections.

30.CHANGES TO SERVICES

AvenueAR may add, remove, modify, rename, or discontinue services or features. The existence of a feature today does not guarantee that it will remain available indefinitely.

Where a change affects a purchased service, AvenueAR will handle the matter in accordance with applicable law and its then-current purchase or fulfillment policies.

31.ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with policies and terms expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement between you and AvenueAR regarding use of the Platform.

Separate written agreements between AvenueAR and a user may supplement or override portions of these Terms where expressly stated.

32.SEVERABILITY

If a court or other authority determines that one provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.

33.NO WAIVER

AvenueAR’s failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive its right to enforce that provision later.
